About the Founder

The founder of the Ntrl Look Colleen Wurche found her love for makeup based on her insecurities and started exploring different makeup techniques to enhance her features. Subscribed to the likes of Jennie Jenkins, Jackie Aina and Andreas Choice, she learned many different skills that led her to become a freelance makeup artist. Her growing love for natural, and ‘skin-like’ looking makeup, inspired her to build this site as a creative space to share her passion for makeup, skincare, and all aspects of beauty.

What inspired the name Ntrl Look?

‘Ntrl’ short for ‘Natural’ was inspired by the many clients, colleagues, and customers that Colleen encountered during her time in retail as a makeup artist, who commented on how natural and ‘flawless’ her base appeared.
